Introduction

The Graduate Institute of Business Administration (GIBA) was originated from a collaboration project launched in the fall of 1962 with the University of Michigan, USA. GIBA began its recruitment in 1981, with candidates targeted at business owners, higher management or future business owners holding a bachelor’s or higher degree. Graduates over time have made outstanding achievements in various trades to keep raising the institute’s reputation in the business.

To keep pace with changing times, GIBA was merged with the Advanced MBA Program in 2013 to become the MBA Program, planning to recruit 133 potential young talents across the world and build a learning environment of international standards for business and management education, in order to turn the program into a global MBA program.
In addition to internationalization, we maintain equal emphasis on local characteristics. Based on the essence of Chinese management research accumulated by faculties over the past 50 years or so, apart from developing teaching materials exclusive for the Management in Asia course, we strengthen the cultivation of leadership and entrepreneurship in students and emphasize the three core spirits: management ethics, social responsibility, and sustainable business to uphold holistic education as our fundamental and core concept.
